VOWHOO only uses advertising cookies if you say yes in the notice you see the first time you visit: they're the Meta pixel's, which tell us whether our Facebook and Instagram ads work. If you decline, nothing from Meta is loaded.
We count visits anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
To work, the app stores some data in your browser's local storage. It's technical and strictly necessary to give you the service you ask for.
What's stored
| Name | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
Supabase session (sb-…-auth-token) | Identifies your phone anonymously so only your crew can see your game. | Until you sign out or clear your browser data |
ql-device | Recognizes this phone inside the game (who you are, who the host is). | Until you clear your browser data |
ql-age21 | Remembers that you confirmed you're 21 or older. | Until you clear your browser data |
ql-theme, ql-muted | Appearance (light or dark) and sound preferences. | Until you clear your browser data |
ql-draft-… | Draft of the party you're creating, so you don't lose it. | Until you finish or discard it |
ql-last, ql-seen-…, ql-watch-…, ql-pos-…, ql-live-…, ql-share-…, ql-cross-…, ql-muro-hidden | Last party opened and game state on this phone (screens seen, location on, posting to the wall, dares done, posts you hid). | Until you clear your browser data |
ql-cookies | Remembers whether you accepted or declined Meta cookies. | Until you clear your browser data |
ql-room-…, ql-moments-… | Offline mode only: the game saved on this phone. | Until you clear your browser data |
Meta cookies (only if you accept)
Set by Meta Platforms through its pixel. They never receive your party's pages or code: only the website's public pages and a signal that you created a party.
| Name | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
_fbp | Identifies your browser so Meta knows if you came from one of our ads. | 90 days |
_fbc | Stores the Meta ad click that brought you here. | 90 days |
More info in Meta's cookie policy.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: declining Meta cookies (or changing your choice below) opts you out. We also honor Global Privacy Control.
How to delete it
You can clear this data in your browser settings (site data). If you do, this phone will no longer be recognized in open games and you'll need to join again with the code.
